From the thematic aspect “Natura Naturata” is embedded in the tradition of “natura morte” that reflects the basic relationship between nature and art. The treatment of the photographs with natural materials like earth, wax, purple gentian or coloured wood shaving may thus be seen as an act of embalming dead animals with the intention of preserving the animus as a totem. It is also a process of esthetic transformation that tries to prevent the disappearance of ecological nature as we have to face it today.
